Assistant City Manager
The Assistant City Manager reports directly to the City Manager.
Department Oversight
Duties
- Assists in preparation of annual departmental budgets
- Monitors and approves departmental expenditures and budgets
- Reviews and recommend utility rates
- Reviews and recommend policy changes to city council
- Planning and Implementation of public infrastructure improvements
- Reviews plans and specifications for public infrastructure improvements, residential and commercial development projects
- Oversight of public infrastructure construction projects
- Responsible Charge for Federal Aid Projects
- Report to City Council regarding Public Services Departments
- Represent the City on various local and statewide boards and commissions
- Safety Director
- Emergency Manager
