Assistant City Manager

The Assistant City Manager reports directly to the City Manager.

Department Oversight

Duties

  • Assists in preparation of annual departmental budgets
  • Monitors and approves departmental expenditures and budgets
  • Reviews and recommend utility rates
  • Reviews and recommend policy changes to city council
  • Planning and Implementation of public infrastructure improvements
  • Reviews plans and specifications for public infrastructure improvements, residential and commercial development projects
  • Oversight of public infrastructure construction projects
  • Responsible Charge for Federal Aid Projects
  • Report to City Council regarding Public Services Departments
  • Represent the City on various local and statewide boards and commissions
  • Safety Director
  • Emergency Manager
