1. I would like to reserve the parks Shelter House or picnic shelter. Who do I contact?

The Cheyenne County Community Center, at 627 Toledo Street, schedules park events and handles scheduling all facility reservations. They can be reached at 308-254-7000. Select “0” for staff assistance in setting the reservations.

2. A tree in my yard doesn’t look healthy. Who should I contact for help?

The Parks Department can initially help citizens evaluate the cause of tree problems. However, we can not remove your tree. You will need to contact a tree removal service.

3. I have trimmed my own trees and shrubs, but I have no way to haul them away. Will the city haul this brush pile away for a fee?

Yes. For a fee of $45.00 (per pickup load) the City Parks Department will remove brush piles from your property.
