City of Sidney – Holiday Closure Notice

Christmas Holiday Closures

The City of Sidney will be closed on Thursday, December 25, and Friday, December 26 in observance of Christmas.
All City departments will be closed, including:

• Landfill

• Library

• Transportation buses (no service)

Please note: The Library will also be closed on Saturday, December 27.

Solid Waste Collection:

• Thursday and Friday routes will be collected on Wednesday, December 24.

New Year’s Holiday Closures

The City of Sidney will be closed on Thursday, January 1 in observance of New Year’s Day.
All City departments will be closed, including:

• Landfill

• Library

• Transportation buses (no service)

Solid Waste Collection:

• Thursday’s trash will be collected on Wednesday, December 31.

• Friday pickup will remain the same.
