Adams Industries has joined twelve other businesses and organizations in providing financial support to the Sidney Swimming Pool Project. Their recent donation of $25,000 over a five year period has brought fundraising efforts to $451,500 leaving only 298,500 remaining towards the $750,000 goal. Additional contributions include:
$150,000 from the Cheyenne County Visitor's Committee
$100,000 from Cabela's, Inc.
$50,000 from the Health Center Foundation
$50,000 from Sidney Regional Medical Center
$30,000 from Security First Bank and Insurance
$25,000 from Points West Community Bank and Insurance
$12,500 from American National Bank
$5,000 from the Thompson Foundation
$1,000 from Great Western Bank
$1,000 from Geri and Lorin Anthony
$500 from LifeSmiles of Sidney
$500 from Sidney Kiwanis Club
$500 from Katie Haas-State Farm Insurance
$500 from Kelly Lapp-RE/MAX Realty Partners.
The total cost of the Swimming Pool Project is $5 million. Additional funds allocated for the project include $3.4 million in a special infrastructure sales tax plus $600,000 from the City's General Fund.
